SUMMARY: Herlong PUD is accepting proposals for insulating and installing an ADA bathroom in a three-car garage that is currently being used as a training facility for the volunteer fire department.
BIDDERS: The District will accept bids until July 1ˢᵗ at 4:00p.m. We require all bidders to clearly represent their subcontracting intentions, if any. All documents must be prepared and signed by those authorized to do so. All costs must be listed in US dollars.
PROJECT AND SCOPE: The purpose of the remodel is to provide a place for volunteers to hold meetings and do training when weather does not permit outside. The project would include adding a wall to separate training from auto parking. Insulate the training room and add an ADA bathroom.
PROPOSAL TIMELINE AND PROJECT DEADLINE: Proposals are due by 7/1/2026 at 4:00p.m. and project to be completed by 12/1/2026.
BUDGET REQUIREMENTS: Each proposal shall include a brief description of the company or past jobs completed. Include for consideration:
- Cost of Materials
- Cost of Labor
- Overhead
- Total Project Cost
Herlong PUD will evaluate proposals based on overall cost, experience, references.
The Herlong PUD Board will complete review of the proposal at the July 28ᵗʰ board meeting and send out letters to proceed within 3 days.
