Public Notice: Herlong PUD Accepting Proposals for Sewer Line Replacement

Herlong PUD is accepting proposals for sewer line replacement under slab.

SUMMARY: Herlong PUD is accepting proposals for replacing approximately 40’ of 4” cast iron sewer line under slab in bathroom, hallway and lab. Tying new 4” ABS sewer line to existing SDR sewer line under concrete walkway outside of building. Tying 2 hand wash sinks, 1 shower, 2 lab sinks, 1 washing machine drain, and 1 toilet into new ABS sewer line. Existing vent for toilet will stay in wall. Possibility of the District disposing of concrete. Would also need soil compaction, Dust containments/extraction, concrete repair and Cabinet removal.

BIDDERS: The District will accept bids until July 20th at 4:00p.m. We require all bidders to clearly represent their subcontracting intentions, if any. All documents must be prepared and signed by those authorized to do so. All costs must be listed in US dollars.

PROJECT AND SCOPE: The purpose of the plumbing is to replace failing sewer line.

PROPOSAL TIMELINE AND PROJECT DEADLINE: Proposals are due by 7/20/2026 at 4:00p.m. and project to be completed by 12/31/2026.

BUDGET REQUIREMENTS: Each proposal shall include a brief description of the company or past jobs completed. Include for consideration:

  • Cost of Materials
  • Cost of Labor
  • Overhead
  • Total Project Cost

Herlong PUD will evaluate proposals based on overall cost, experience, references.

The Herlong PUD Board will complete review of the proposal at the July 28ᵗʰ board meeting and send out letters to proceed within 3 days.
