The Lassen Union High School District is pleased to share the following public notice announcing great news for the district’s commitment to nutrition access for all.
Lassen Community Day School and Credence Continuation High School will continue to participate in the Community Eligibility Provision program under the National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program for the 2024-2025 school year at both school sites.
Effective July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025, all students attending school at Lassen Community Day School or Credence Continuation High School are eligible to receive a nutritious breakfast and lunch at no charge.
Schools participating in the Community Eligibility Provision program do not collect meal benefit applications to determine categorical eligibility for free, reduced-price, or paid student meals. This approach reduces the burden for families and school administrators, and helps ensure that students receive nutritious meals.
