Notice, a Public Hearing is set for Monday, September 8th, 2025 at 6:00p.m., at the Stones Bengard Community Service District Firehall/Office, 509-695 Stone Road, Susanville, CA 96130, on the Disconnection to sewer system from delinquent payment of sewer fees for the 2024-2025 fiscal year.
At said public hearing, the Board of Directors will hear and consider all objections to the Disconnection to the sewer system. If the Board of Directors continues with the disconnection procedure, the delinquent charges, together with late fees, as stated in Ordinance No. 22-01,”5 days after the Public Hearing and by the District’s direction, the line will be disconnected with a fee of $400.00 per disconnection and the amount due will be turned over to Lassen County to be placed on the tax roll for the property owner of the parcel.”
Notice will also be sent to the Lassen County Planning Department, Lassen County Tax Collector, and Lahontan Water Board.
