Ralph “PeeWee” Winship Jr.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of PeeWee Winship Jr. He passed away at his home in Litchfield on May 21st, 2025 after a battle with cancer.
He is preceded in death by his, Son William “Billy” Winship, Brother Keith Winship, Mother Loretta and Father Ralph Winship. He is survived by his sons Clinton Winship and Tyce Winship.

PeeWee was a lifelong resident of the Susanville area. He was a third-generation timber faller most of his career and then worked at the California Correctional Center in the Maintenance Department. He enjoyed racing dirt bikes in his younger years. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter. He was involved in local Field Trial and Hunting Clubs. He bred English Pointers and raised various game birds for hunting and training. He will be deeply missed by his extensive family as well as his friends.
