Lassen College welding student Danielle Ware has been named as the winner of a $500 scholarship from Raschein Construction through the Lassen College Foundation.
Ware is a full-time student at Lassen College where she is working toward her associate degree in addition to her one and two-year welding technology degree. She plans to graduate in Spring of 2025 and afterward, pursue a career in welding.
Raschein Construction “Bob’s Builders” is a Susanville based construction firm owned by Bob Raschein since 2006.
He and his wife decided to open a scholarship this year to contribute to, and encourage, young people going into industrial trades.
