Reinhold Hoge, beloved Husband, Father, Uncle, and ‘GranPa’ fell asleep in death on November 10, 2018. He was 92 years old.
Born in the village of Rotenstein, Yugoslavia, Reinhold is survived by his wife of 59 years, Rosalind; their daughter Linda; his brother, Arnold; his adopted daughter, Jessica; and nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his sister, Ramona.
Born in the village of Rotenstein, Yugoslavia, Reinhold met Rose in Banning, Ca and shortly after their marriage, moved to Utah to serve as full time ministers of Jehovah. Four years later, they moved to San Bernardino, Ca where they raised their daughter, Linda.
Reinhold managed his own flooring business and volunteered at several Kingdom Halls and Assembly projects throughout California.
Reinhold was known for his work ethic and determination to give his best to Jehovah. After moving his family to Susanville, Ca to serve where the need was greater, he continued to serve over the next 17 years. At the age of 74 years old, Reinhold was still installing floors, working the farm, and spending most of his time in the ministry teaching other about the Bible.
