The Reno Dance Company will be bringing their professional production of the traditional, holiday ballet ‘The Nutcracker’ to Susanville this November thanks to the hard work and effort of the Lassen County Arts Council and Susanville Best of Broadway organization.
As if that weren’t exciting enough, Reno Dance Company Executive Director and Artistic Director, Lesa Dusich, has announced the addition of local talent to their performance.
Auditions will be held at the Diamond View Middle School Multipurpose room Tuesday, October 15th. No dance experience is necessary and both boys and girls, and men and women are encouraged to try out. Sign-ups begin at 3:00pm and audition times are as follows:
- 3:30p.m. 5 – 8 years old
- 4:30p.m. 9 – 12 years old
- 5:30p.m. Ages 13 and up
- 6:30p.m. All Dancers En Pointe
Hundreds of local residents travel to Reno each December to see The Reno Dance Company perform this spectacular ballet at the Nugget, this year we can see it right here to our hometown with performances at the Veterans Memorial Hall November 23rd at 2:00p.m. and 7:00p.m. and November 24th at 2:00p.m.
