The Reno Dance Company will be bringing their professional production of the traditional, holiday ballet ‘The Nutcracker’ to Susanville this December and auditions for local folks who want to be a part of the show will be held at House of Dance in uptown Susanville this Wednesday, November 11th.
No dance experience is necessary and both boys and girls, and men and women are encouraged to try out. Sign-ups begin at 2:30p.m. and audition times are as follows:
- 3:00p.m. 6 – 9 years old
- 4:15p.m. 10 – 12 years old
- 5:30p.m. Ages 13 and up
- 6:45p.m. Pointe Girls Only
All participants will be cast in the show! Rehearsals will be held December 7th through the 11th.
Hundreds of local residents travel to Reno each December to see The Reno Dance Company perform this spectacular ballet at the Nugget, this year we can see it right here to our hometown with performances at the Veterans Memorial Hall December 12th at 3:00p.m. and 7:00p.m. and December 13th at 2:00p.m.
