Richard Robert Hays
Richard Robert Hays, 48 passed away at his home in Litchfield, CA on November 30th, 2013. Rich was born on January 2nd, 1965 to parents Rich and Cherryl Hays in Santa Clara, CA and grew up in Boulder, Co.
Rich married his wife Stephanie on August 9th, 2013 and is survived by his parents Rich and Cherryl Hays, sister Sherrie Hall (Bob Hall), Caroline Balow. nephews Ryan and Russell, nieces Cassidy, Alison and Misty, two grandnieces, the M&M’s Michelle and Madison. He is also survived by stepsons Wayne, Paul (RC), Brian, stepdaughter Jessica (Scott), grandson Eli and granddaughter Peyton.
Rich served in the U.S. Calvary as a tank commander and served in the Gulf War. He then worked as a carpenter in varius places and eventually settled in Susanville where he was employed as a master carpenter at the Sierra Army Depot.
Rich enjoyed his work, golfing, cooking, shooting, gardening, and mostly spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by everyone who loved and knew him.
