Sean was born July 29, 1969 to Dale and Paulette Gunn in Canoga Park, CA. He spent his childhood in Santa Maria, CA and summers on the shores of Lake Almanor, CA. Sean eventually moved to Lake Almanor and graduated from Chester High School, Class of 1987.
Sean was a talented carpenter and helped build many homes around the lake. He was the proud father of his daughter Maddyn and son Kasen.
Sean had moved Oregon in 2012 and lived in many towns before settling in Medford.
Sean passed away June 25, 2024.
Sean enjoyed panning for gold, riding snowmobiles, playing softball for “The Hounds”, golfing and watching the Raiders.
Sean was preceded in death by his mother Paulette Roof, father Dale Gunn, brother Tony Gunn, grandparents Ray and Shirley Peterson, Stella Byrne and Vic Tantardino.
Sean is survived by his daughter Maddyn of Chico, CA, son Kasen of Westwood, CA, step father Ron Roof of Roseburg, OR, half sisters Dacia Gunn of Colorado Springs, CO, Arianne Gunn of Lafayette, IN, Step brothers Ron Roof Jr. of Roseburg, OR and Shane Roof of Sacramento, CA.
A celebration of Sean’s life will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Westwood Community Center at 1:00pm with a potluck to follow.
