This Saturday, June 16th the ‘Rock the Wake’ free-ride wakeboarding exhibition event will make a splash on Emerson Lake at the Diamond Mountain Golf Course.
Entrance and parking are at the old club house on Wingfield Road from 3:00 to 8:00p.m.
A select group of riders have been invited to throw down on wake behind a 2012 Natique Super Air 230, followed by a rail jam on Battleship rail, finishing with going big off double-ups.
This years participants are Nick McBride, Jaret Brantley, Brodie Chaboya, Al Marchiniak and Daniel Dowd.
There is a $10.00 entrance donation. Lassen High Field Hockey will be selling snow cones and the Susanville Volunteer Fire Department and Explorer post will be selling hamburgers.
Event coordinator Nick McBride says the event starts at 3:00pm with a surprise kick off so don’t be late!
After the event there will be a meet and greet for the riders, for ages 21 and up, at Lassen Ale Works at 8:45, followed by an after party at Diamond Mountain Casino from 10:30 till close.
We will be there watching and taking pictures so make sure to check back to see our Rock the Wake photo gallery.
