Susanville’s Sunrise Rotary Club is looking for talented high-school aged virtuosi to compete for a chance to attend the District Final Contest in May, where the first-place winner will take home $1,000.
The local competition for solo instrumentalists will be held Thursday, February 27th, at 5:30p.m., at the United Methodist Church on South Lassen Street.
The area contest will be held March 19th, if multiple clubs hold local contests.

You will be asked to give a three-to-eight-minute performance to show off your talent.
There are two qualifying contests and then the finals, all with prize money. Three local monetary prize winners will be chosen.
The final competition will be held at 1:00p.m., May 3rd, at the Oats Park Art Center in Fallon, Nevada.
