Ruth’s greatest joy was found in spending time with her large extended family and friends (her grandchildren were her favorites).

Ruth dedicated her life to serving others, incorporating her love of writing, music, art, and faith into everything she did. In addition to being a pastor’s wife, she was a professional musician, singer, songwriter, and music teacher in California and Nevada. Later, she taught Parent Education/Peer Support for Lassen Family Services. Much later, she became an employee of Kanopi Studios.

Ruth was the embodiment of love, kindness, and generosity. She was a creative soul who passionately shared her musical gifts, and will be remembered for her dedication to teaching others how to sing, play, perform, and compose music. She was committed to sharing her faith and authored three books about spirituality. She also loved painting, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 21st at 11:00 a.m. at Crosswinds Assembly of God Church, 2100 El Rancho Dr., Sparks, Nevada.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Convoy of Hope, in Ruth’s memory.
