Lassen Land and Trails Trust’s Discover Lassen Hike scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday April 18th, has been changed to a different location because of storm damage around Eagle Lake.
The group will still be meeting at the historic Susanville Depot at 9:00a.m to carpool but instead of Eagle Lake the hike will be on the new southside trail off of the Bizz Johnson Trail.
Event organizer Suzanne McDonald explained that the change is necessary because of more than 60 downed trees along the Eagle Lake bike path.
The Forest Service will be cleaning up the area over the next few weeks.
