The Susanville Symphony’s final performance of the 2023-2024 season happens this Saturday, May 11th, and promises to be a spectacular conclusion to another year of great concerts.
“The end of the 20th season,” explains Conductor and Artistic Director Ben Wade, “This concert will be an audience favorite selection, featuring some of the most beloved works that the Susanville Symphony has performed over the last twenty years.”
According to Wade some of the charter members, who signed up during the inaugural season, have been coming to every concert for two decades.
“Marshal and Helen Leve, Ray and Denise White, Dick Bendix, Susan Quale, Kim and Virginia Erb, Martin Balding and Georgianne Hall, to name a few have all selected their favorite songs.”
Saturday evening’s performance begins at 7:00 in the United Methodist Church in uptown Susanville. Limited tickets are still available at Margie’s Book Nook, and there will be a few tickets available at the door.
