The Shaffer Parent Teacher Organization is dusting off the cowboy boots and rolling out the welcome mat for a double-header of family celebrations this weekend. The festivities kick off on Friday, May 15th, with the 3rd Annual Father Daughter Dance. From 5:00 to 8:00p.m., dads and daughters can head over to the Shaffer Elementary School Gym to enjoy an evening of dancing paired with a hearty pulled pork sandwich dinner.
The family fun continues the next morning as the school hosts its inaugural 1st Annual Mother and Son Brunch. On May 16th, from 10:00a.m. until 12:00, mothers and sons are invited to the Shaffer gym to share a relaxing meal of quiche and pastries accompanied by coffee and tea.
Both of these community events will be held at the school campus located at 722-055 Highway 395 in Litchfield. Admission for either event is set at $25 per pair, with an additional $10 charge for any extra parent or child joining the group.
For those looking to secure their spot early, tickets are currently available at Margie’s Book Nook and the Shaffer School Office, though they will also be available for purchase at the door.
Whether you’re coming for the dancing or the brunch, it’s a wonderful opportunity to support the PTO and make some lasting memories.
