He is considered armed and dangerous and if you see Castodio you are asked to immediately call 9-1-1.

Deputies from the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office are asking residents of south county to be on the lookout for a man who allegedly assaulted a CHP officer with a vehicle near Herlong early Saturday morning.
“This morning,” detailed LCSO Captain Kevin Jones in a Saturday afternoon media release, “the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the California Highway Patrol on County Rd. A-26 in Herlong for an outstanding felon arrest. On arrival it was discovered a Lassen County resident, Chauncey Castodio, age 37 of Doyle, had fled from Highway Patrol officers, assaulted an Officer with his vehicle and fled on foot.”
According to Captain Jones, the Lassen County Sheriff’s SWAT team responded along with multiple Deputies, CHP Officers and CHP air support to search for the suspect.
“Unfortunately, we were unable to locate and apprehend Castodio,” said Jones.
“Castodio has a history of violence and we appreciate the community’s support and assistance in bringing him to justice. Castodio is currently wanted on several warrants and has claimed he will not return to custody peacefully. He is considered armed and dangerous. If anyone knows his whereabouts or sees this individual, please call 9-1-1 and report his sighting.”
