On February 25th, Deputies from the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office conducted a compliance check of sex registrants as a part of the SAFE Grant process.
The SAFE Grant provides funding to the Sheriff’s Office for the supervision and compliance enforcement of sex registrants in Lassen County.
The sex registrants checked were located in Bieber, Doyle, Eagle Lake, Herlong, Little Valley, McArthur, Milford, Termo and Westwood areas.
During the compliance check, Deputies attempted to contact 30 sex registrants, making contact with 20. Out of those 20, one arrest was made. All of the other registrants contacted were in compliance with their registration requirements.
