The Lassen County Sheriff’s Office is seeking public comment regarding their participation in the California State Parks Off-Highway Vehicle Grant Program.
The 2026/2027 preliminary applications will be available for review at ohv.parks.ca.gov.
The public review period will be March 3rd, through May 4th, 2026. Questions or comments may be submitted on the aforementioned website where you can review the application.

The Sheriff’s Office is applying for grant funding to enhance patrol operations in areas where off-highway vehicle use is prohibited. If awarded, the funds will support targeted enforcement efforts aimed at protecting natural resources, reducing environmental damage and promoting public safety in restricted areas.
