Lassen Community College’s Board of Trustees, along with Superintendent President Carie Camacho, presented the school’s 2025 Commencement ceremony on May 23rd, celebrating the achievements of nearly 100 graduates in front of friends and family who gathered for the occasion on the quad at the college’s Highway 139 campus. Graduates came from both the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters.
The National Anthem was sung by Liudmilla Mullin, accompanied by Dennis Roberts on piano, to being the ceremony.
Speakers for the evening included Administration of Justice Program Director Tom Downing, who gave the Invocation, Interim Dean of Academic Services Colleen Baker and student speakers Brianna Hatfield, Emily Fluke and Jasmine Gisselberg.
A special award was given to Jessica Miller, owner of Susanville Supermarket IGA, for her partnership with LCC.
The Governing Board presented diplomas to each graduate.
