Members of the Susanville Soroptimist ‘S Club’ made Valentine’s Day cards for the elderly in the two assisted living facilities last week.
The ‘S Club’ is a service club made up of high school students who are concerned with improving the quality of life for themselves and those around them. They work in cooperation with their school to build high standards and ideals, and to prepare members to assume leadership roles in the business and professional world.
The club chooses the programs of service they believe will better their school and community.
