Soroptimist International of Susanville is currently accepting nominations for their 2026 Community Star Awards. This award highlights individuals who go the extra mile for their community.
Who is eligible?
Normally the organization is looking for a variety of people – nominees can be a volunteer, teacher, coach, caregiver, local business owner, law enforcement or first responder – but this year they are focusing on the outstanding people who work to support our community schools.
How to Nominate
To submit a nomination, please provide the following information:
Contact Info: Name, Address, Cell Phone, School, and Email of the nominee.
The “Why”: Please provide at least two paragraphs outlining the nominee’s achievements or volunteer services in the school/community.
Background: Include background information such as how long they have lived in the district, their work, family, and the specific reason for submitting the application.
Submission Details
Completed nominations can be submitted via email or dropped off in person:

The deadline to submit nominations is April 1st, and recipients of the Community Star Award will be invited to attend the Annual Soroptimist Awards Dinner at Lassen Community College in May.
