A residential structure fire at the corner of 3rd and Elm streets in Westwood has shut down several streets in the vicinity.
3rd Street is closed from Fir to Delwood. Elm Street is shut down from 3rd to 2nd.
The cause of the fire, in the old Furman Mortuary building, is under investigation.
Crews from Cal-Fire, Westwood Fire Department, Clear Creek Fire Department and Hamilton Branch are on scene along with SEMSA and Lassen County Sheriff’s Office.
