‘Summer of Hope’ Food Program Launches to Support Local Families

The “A Summer of Hope” Food Program is providing grocery support to local families this season. Organized through a partnership between the Susanville Assembly of God Church, Convoy of Hope and our local schools, this initiative aims to bring essential nutrition directly to families in need.

Food distributions, which began on July 7th, will take place again on July 14th, July 21st and July 28th.

Families can visit any of the designated pick-up locations, which include the Susanville Garden Apartments, Meadowbrook Apartments, Riverside Park, Mill View Apartments, and Memorial Park.

Distribution runs from 6:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. on these dates, or until the food runs out.

To qualify for the food distributions, participating families must have at least one child ranging from preschool age up to 18 years old. For any questions or further details regarding the program, please contact organizers directly at 1.530.260.0646.
