It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Susan Ellen Creede. She entered into heaven May 5, 2025, following a long illness.
Susan was born April 1, 1942, in Seattle, Washington, to Edgar D. Allen and Eleanor E. Honnold. She attended Hiram Johnson High in Sacramento, California and lived a good many years in Susanville, California, where all her children were born and was a fixture at the local Rasco Tempo variety store. In the ’80s, she was happily married to her husband Eric Creede, and they moved to Stockton, California.
Susan enjoyed arts and crafts, especially painting, traveling, her garden and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her second-born, Jimmy Stokes, her parents and her former husband. She is survived by her husband Eric Creede, and children: Kevin Stokes (Stephney) of Reno, NV; Cindy Kindred of Stockton, CA; and Matt Stokes (Valerie) of Modesto, CA. Susan also leaves behind 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 3 great- great-grandchildren
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
