15 teams competed in the 23rd annual Mus Tournament hosted by the Susanville Basque Club on April 28th, with the top team headed to the next round of tournament play in Idaho.
“Anastacio Sarratea and Ignacio Sarratea will represent our club at this year’s NABO tournament on June 2nd in Homedale, Idaho,” explains tournament organizer Michelle Zubillaga.
Second place went to Gaven Sarratea and Frank Vargas.
Each year players come to Susanville from all over California, some from Nevada and even some from Oregon to compete.
