It is time to dust off the cleats and get ready for some baseball! Susanville Little League is officially gearing up for the 2026 season and has released the schedule of important dates that parents and young athletes need to know.
With the season quickly approaching, the league is reminding everyone that the clock is ticking on registration. Families have until February 14th to get their players signed up for the season. Click here for online registration.
For those who prefer to register in person or have questions for league organizers, there will be an in-person sign-up event held at Susanville Pizza Factory on Wednesday, February 5th, from 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m.
Once registration closes, the season moves quickly into gear. Player assessments are scheduled for the weekend of March 7th and 8th at Lassen College.
Immediately following assessments, the league will hold drafts to form teams. T-ball and Farm division drafts are set for March 8th, with the Minors and Intermediate divisions drafting the following day, March 9th.
Players can expect to hit the field for their first practices beginning March 16th.
Families should mark their calendars for the big kickoff, as Opening Day is scheduled for April 18th, with Picture Day taking place a week later on April 25th.
