
The newly established Susanville Performing Arts Center at the Sierra Theatre is proud to announce a series of free movie days for the community. The center invites everyone to enjoy a variety of films, from supernatural thrillers to animated classics, all with free admission.
The movie series kicks off this Friday, August 22nd with “Fright Night Friday,” featuring “The Conjuring” (R). There will be two showings at 4:30p.m. and 7:30p.m.
The following day, Saturday, August 23rd, is “Silly Saturday” with the family-friendly animated classic “The Great Mouse Detective” (PG). Showtimes are at 3:30p.m and 7:30p.m.
On Sunday, August 24th, “Spiritual Sunday” will present “Letters to God” (PG) at 3:30p.m. and 7:30p.m., a film touching on faith and hope.
The movie marathon continues on Wednesday, August 27th, with “Wild & Wacky Wednesday” showcasing the 2007 comedy “Wild Hogs” (PG-13) at 4:30p.m. and 7:30p.m.
Finally, the series concludes on Thursday, August 28th, with “Throwback Thursday” featuring “Going in Style” (PG-13) at 4:30p.m. and 7:30p.m.
The Susanville Performing Arts Center is a state-of-the-art venue for performances and events, and while admission is free, donations are welcomed to support its mission of community involvement, education and entertainment.
Please note that outside food is not permitted; however, the concession stands will be open.
