Officers from the Susanville Police Department responded to more than 13,000 incidents in 2024 according to statistics released this week by Susanville Public Safety Chief Michael Bengoa-Bollinger.
7,502 calls for service, 5,856 officer initiated incidents, 2,703 traffic stops eleven vehicle and pedestrian checks comprised the 13,358 incidents logged by the department during the last twelve months.
Officers issued 1,081 citations: 696 traffic violations and 131 parking violations.
Officer reports totaled 1,247 with a variety of reasons for the report being filed: 45 collissions, 871 criminal and 331 miscellaneous reports.
There were a total of 1,462 front desk / counter calls. There were 271 animal control incidents.
There were 528 total arrests, with 528 misdemeanors, and 123 felony arrests in 2024, with 66 arrests for driving under the influence.
There were 1,420 total officer training hours.
