Susanville Police Investigate Weekend Rash of Graffiti


The Susanville Police Department is investigating a rash of graffiti that damaged several businesses and vehicles this weekend in the mid-town section of Susanville.

According to Police Lieutenant Matt Wood, at around 9:00 Saturday night officers from the department discovered that someone had spray painted the south side of a business in the 1600 block of Main Street.

Over the course of the weekend, officers located multiple businesses and vehicles that had been vandalized by graffiti with most of the targets concentrated in North and South Alley from the 1100 block to the 2100 block of Main Street.

“The Susanville Police Department is continuing to investigate these incidents,” said Lieutenant Wood, “and would like to remind the public to report any suspicious activity. Citizens with information on these incidents are encouraged to please contact our 24 hour dispatch line at (530) 257-2171. You can remain anonymous if you wish.”
