Renegades Sweep District Championship

The Susanville American Legion team went to Redding on Thursday, July 18th and won the six team district tournament with three consecutive wins.

The Renegades relied on good pitching and defense to win, and advance to the Area Championship in Fairfield, California which begins on Wednesday, July 23rd.

In the opener, Ryan Sharpe went the distance for a 7-2 victory over South County.  On offense, Logan Loflin, Daniel Perry, and Hunter Morris, each had two hits.

In the second game, Jarrell Cunningham went the distance for a 9-3 win over the Sun Devils.  Ryan Sharpe led the offense with three hits and Adrik Yacelga had two hits. 

In the third game, the Renegades faced the Sun Devils again and won 5-3 behind another complete game by Garrison Collier.  Daniel Perry led the offense with two hits and two runs batted in.  The Renegades are currently 19-14.
