According to organizer Pat Holley this meeting will give the group a chance to catch up on events in the neighborhood and get some stats and input from the Police Department.
“There are folks who are interested in public office this time of year and we would like to make a little time for them to visit and tell us what their positions are on the Public Safety issues that matter to us,” said Holley. “We don’t want to endorse specific candidates but would like to hear from those candidates who are interested in sharing their views.”
“The objective our our group is to get together as a community and work to improve the safety and security of our homes and neighborhoods.”
The North Central Neighborhood Watch covers from Main Street to Chestnut and Grand Avenue to Ash Street. If you are interested in learning more about Neighborhood Watch, even if you are outside of the North Central area you are welcome to join the meeting.
