the Lady Grizz Basketball Boosters will be hosting the annual 6:00 pm Madness night! All three teams will play an inner-squad scrimmage beginning with the Freshmen at 6:00 pm. There will be a dessert auction with our LIVE auction beginning at 7:00 pm. You do not want to miss bidding on the handcrafted purple and gold quilt or the spray-on bed liner donated by Autopro. All of this excitement includes a pulled pork meal, plus entry for $10.00.

Masonic Lodge #149 host their 3rd Saturday Breakfast from 8:00 – 11:00 am. The cost is $6.00, and it’s held at the Susanville Mason Hall on Lassen Street (Across from the Post Office) the 3rd Saturday of each month. Proceeds go to benefit the School & Scholarship Fund.

Susanville Best of Broadway and the Lassen County Arts Council present the Reno Dance Company in The Nutcracker Ballet. Performances on Saturday will be at 2:00 and 7:00 p.m. Sunday will have a 2:00 p.m. performance. All performances will be at the Veteran’s Hall. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 kids 12 and under and are available at Margie’s Bok Nook and The Lassen County Arts Council.

Light up a Life. Honey Lake Hospice Tree Lighting ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Eagle Lake Village. This event takes place outdoors, please dress warmly. Those wishing to honor a loved one may purchase a ‘light’ and have the loved one’s name inscribed on a dove, which will be placed on the hospice tree. ‘Lights’ may be purchased at Margie’s Book Nook or Plumas Bank.
