The Nutcracker December 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Susanville Best of Broadway and Lassen County Arts Council Present” The Reno Dance Company in The Nutcracker. Veteran’s Memorial Hall, Thursday, December 2nd at 7:00p.m., Friday, December 3rd at 7:00p.m., and Saturday, December 4th 2:00p.m., and 7:00p.m. Tickets are $15 and are available at the Lassen County Chamber, Margie’s Book Nook and Zaengle’s Furniture.

Lassen County Chamber of Commerce Mixer will be hosted by Plumas Bank. The event is from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm. For more information, please contact the chamber at 530-257-4323.

Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays the Lassen County Fair is hosting its ‘Holiday Festival of Lights’ exhibition at the fairgrounds. The displays are built by different local groups, organizations, and individuals for the public to drive through and ‘oooooh and ahhhhhhh’ at during the season. The massive display of holiday cheer is also a stop on the annual Senior Light Tour. Festival of Lights opens on December 3rd. Friday and Saturday gates are open 5:00 – 9:00p.m., and on Sunday, gates are open 5:00 – 8:00p.m. Gates will be open the whole week from Friday, December 17th through the following Saturday, December 25th. The hours for December 24th, Christmas Eve, are 5:00 – 10:00p.m. Please note, Friday, December 3rd and Saturday, December 4th is walk through only, no cars. Drive-thru the fairway and see holiday light displays. Donations are accepted.

Lassen Family Services Presents: Desperado Concert. Concert Ticket Prices are $25
Ticket Locations: Lassen Family Services, Margie’s Book Nook and at the door. For more information call 1-530-257-5459. The Eagles tribute concert will be on December 3rd and the Beach Boys tribute concert will be on December 4th, both at the fairgrounds in the Industrial Building at 7:00 PM.

Friday, December 3
Friends in Art Country Christmas December 3rd and 4th. Art sale will take place at an Artist Reception on Friday, December 3rd from 5:30 to 7:30p.m., at the Artisan Coffee and Gallery, 464-440 Church Street in Janesville, and on Saturday, December 4th from 9:00 to 3:00p.m., you can meet the artists and shop the art sale. Art will remain on sale for the entire month of December. Enjoy the holidays and purchase one-of-a-kind handcrafted items for that special someone.

Friday, December 3
Christmas in the Mountains December 3rd
Downtown Westwood 5:00 – 6:00p.m., vendors on the lawn at the Community Center. Free books from the Westwood Onestop. Santa arrives at 6:16p.m. in the Light Parade. Wave to Mr. & Mrs. Clause in the light parade and receive a goodie bag.

Saturday, December 4
Eskaton Lassen Manor Bake Sale December 4th
Eskaton Lassen Manor Residents are hosting a Bake Sale. Saturday, December 4th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be lots of goodies to choose from including homemade bread, cakes, cookies, pies, and candies. All proceeds directly benefit the low-income seniors and help to provide them with socialization opportunities and fun! You can find all the delicious treats at 205 North Mesa Street in Susanville, follow the Bake Sale signs to the multi-purpose room.

Susanville Assembly of God Christmas Vendor Fair December 4th and 5th. Susanville Assembly of God will be holding their craft fair at 473-465 Richmond Road. Friday is 4:00 – 8:00p.m. and Saturday starts at 9:00a.m.

The Magical Country Christmas in Uptown Susanville. The biggest holiday celebration in Lassen County will be held Saturday, December 4th from 5:00 – 7:00p.m., in Historic Uptown Susanville. Come and enjoy a parade, live entertainment, food and beverages. Santa will make his grand entrance and fireworks will be set off as the big tree at the top of Main Street is lit.

Honey Lake Hospice Memorial Tree. The 18th annual Honey Lake Hospice’ Light Up A Life’ Tree. All are welcome to visit the tree, which lights up each night, from Saturday, November 20th through the first of the new year, outside, at Honey Lake Hospice, 60 S. Lassen St., Susanville.
