On Saturday, April 30th, Lassen Land and Trails Trust will be hosting another Discover Lassen hike.
“April 30th is Take it Outside California day so let’s go on a hike!” said Elizabeth Norton, Vice President of the Lassen Land and Trails Trust.
This casual hike on the Bizz Johnson National Recreation Trail is 6.3 miles long and passes through some of the most scenic landscapes along the Susan River Canyon.
Hikers will depart from the Historic Susanville Railroad Depot at 9:00a.m. and travel to Goumaz Campground to start their trip.
The hike ends at the BLM Devil’s Corral Trailhead, about seven miles west of Susanville.
“Come join us for some great exercise and make new friends along the way,” said Norton.
