
According to Task Force investigator Sergeant Kevin Jones, agents sought and received a search warrant for Schon Taylor and the property he resides on in Janesville. Members of the Task Force, assisted by an officer from the California Highway Patrol and Warden from the Department of Fish and Game, served the warrant in the early hours of February 19th at Taylor’s home.
The search produced several guns, over two ounces of crystal methamphetamine and other items of evidence according to the report.
“Investigation revealed Taylor has been selling methamphetamine for a period of time in Lassen County.” said Sergeant Jones, “Taylor’s history includes multiple drug convictions including manufacturing and sales/transportation of controlled substances.”

Taylor is being held on $38,000 bail in the Lassen County Jail on the following charges:
- 11377 HS Possession of a controlled substance
- 11378 HS Possession of a controlled substance for sale
- 11360 HS Transportation/Furnishing controlled substance
- 11370.1 HS Possession of a loaded firearm in proximity to dangerous drugs
- 29800 PC Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
Sergeant Jones added that, as with many of Task Force’s investigations, this case began with a tip from a member of the public and information from community members.
