Tenth Annual ‘Swing for Cancer’ Fundraiser Set for September 3rd

It’s been nearly a decade since the Northern California Cancer Advocates held their first fundraising golf tournament in 2013, since that time they have raised more than $216,413 and helped 262 Cancer Fighters in Lassen and Plumas counties.

Each year through the efforts of their volunteers and community sponsors they continue their mission to provide financial assistance to local Cancer Fighters. The group’s tenth annual Swing for Cancer Golf Tournament starts with an 8:00a.m. check-in time and a 9:00a.m. start at the Diamond Mountain Golf Course on September 3rd.

To play it costs $125 per person, $500 per foursome, which includes green fees, cart, swag bag and lunch at the turn.

There will be a Bloody Mary Bar before the start and Susanville Rotary will host a bar throughout the tournament. You will find some great raffle prizes in the clubhouse.

There will be contests for ladies and gents ‘closest to the pin’ and a lucky drive contest.

All money made at the tournament will go to benefit Cancer Fighters in Lassen and Plumas counties.

Organizers expect the tournament to fill fast! Prepaid teams are guaranteed a spot in the tournament. First thirty-six teams will play. Click here to download a registration form.
