The Good Stuff: Meet Your 2022 Miss Lassen County Contestants

Before I introduce the Miss Lassen contestants, I have to say Happy Anniversary to my mom and dad, Rhonda and Vernon Templeton.

Fifty-three years ago today they got married and together they have raised a family, grown a business, and influenced hundreds of local children through coaching, library time, Campfire girls, Boy Scouts, and other activities.

I’m sure it wasn’t always easy and I am thankful for everything you have done for me.

Wednesday is pageant night and I know you are wanting to see this year’s lovely young ladies. These amazing photos were taken by Tressa Guess of Wild and Free Photography at the Susanville Municipal Airport. A big thank you to Steve, BJ, Paul, Bill, and Doc Blevins for their help with the shoot. It was a beautifully tranquil location and we enjoyed the evening.
