On Earth Day, April 22nd, the Thompson Peak Writers’ Workshop will present a reading for Words and Music at Artisan Coffee Shop in Janesville at 4:00p.m.
The Reading is to celebrate National Poetry Month. The musician is Mike McCourt and the readers are poets and fiction writers from the workshop along with a special guest reader.
To celebrate Earth Day, Thompson Peak Writers are offering a soup-tasting with four different soups by some great community cooks. Soups are free to the public as is the event.
There will also be an Open Mic so people in the community can join in.
