Timothy Allen Micone, 74, passed away on September 1, 2025, in Susanville Ca. Tim was born on March 28, 1951, to Falba and Albert Micone, in Susanville Ca.
Tim was known to be adventurous during his younger years before enlisting in the United States Navy, where he honorably served aboard the U.S.S Constellation aircraft carrier during the Vietnam era as a Aviation boatswain’s mate.
Tim was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, a loyal brother and friend. Tim found happiness in life’s simple pleasures where he could often be found fishing or polishing rocks. Just as he took joy in polishing stones, he polished the lives of those around him.
He was a true prankster, not that had he had a choice having to survive around his brothers, he believed laughter was one of life’s greatest gifts. He had a deep compassion for those he loved, never hesitating to lend a hand.
Above all, Tim was devoted to his family, he created a home filled with warmth, love, and treasured memories. His presence was a blessing, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Tim is lovingly remembered by his sons, Jeremy Micone (Heather) and Taylor Micone (Kelsey); and his daughter, Sara Micone (Raul). He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Zachary, Kaylee, Jace, Malea, and Trinity. Tim shared a loving life with his wife, Kim Almand, her daughter, Ashley (John), and grandchildren Kimberly and Jonathan. He is also survived by his brothers, Larry, Tom (Sue), and Kenny (Sandy); as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, all of whom held a special place in his heart.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Falba Micone.
Memorial services for Tim will be held on Saturday September 27, 2025, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church located in Susanville, Ca starting at 11am with a Celebration of life immediately following inside the Monsignor Moran Hall. A private interment at Arlington National Ceremony will be held at a later date.
