Truck Snaps Utility Lines on Main Street Near Zaengles

Crews from LMUD and Frontier Telecommunications responded quickly Thursday afternoon when a tractor-trailer snapped telephone lines in front of Zaengles Carpet One on Main Street in Susanville.

The entanglement snapped one utility pole in half and left the cable draped over the semi, and hanging from another pole near the bowling alley.

One lane of the street was blocked by Susanville Police for a short time as crews made repairs and removed debris.
