Trudy Lynne Fleckenstein 2/16/1952-04/27/2026. Trudy was born to Alice Durrant (Snyder) and Norman Snyder in Ronin MT. on February 16, 1952. Her family moved around and eventually settled in Susanville CA, where they lived for many years. In later years she traveled around and lived in different areas. The last part of her life she lived in Arizona with her husband Ed Hitchner while being a care giver to her father until his passing. They would spend winters in Arizona and summers in Susanville, mostly at Eagle Lake. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family (and her various cats and dogs); and friends. Having a kind heart she helped out family and friends when she could. In her younger days she loved to bowl and played in leagues. Spent time outdoors doing hiking and camping. Spent time with her family and friends.
Trudy is survived by her Daughter Shawna Coyer (James), Son Shannon Williams (Sandy), Sister Lori Farris (Frank), and Brothers Randy Snyder (Gladys), Gary Snyder, Jim Snyder (Charlotte). Grandchildren Cole Hershberger (Hannah), KiAnna Williams, KateLynn Williams, and 8 great grandchildren. Aunts and Uncles and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Norman Snyder and mother Alice Durrant, Bother Tim Snyder and husband Ed Hitchner.
Services will be at 11:00 AM on the 23rd of May at the Lighthouse Baptist Church (formally know as First Southern Baptist church) at 1545 Cornell Street, Susanville, CA.
