Police Chief Tom Downing has announced the arrest of two more suspects as part of the department’s undercover drug buy program surrounding high-school aged youth in Susanville.
On Friday, May 17th, 44 year-old Susanville resident Troy Allen Smith was arrested on a felony warrant for sales of marijuana, methamphetamine and prescription narcotics.
Later that same day the second subject, a 16 year-old, was arrested at the Lassen Union High School District office on an arrest warrant for the sales of marijuana. He was booked into the Lassen County Juvenile Hall.
Chief Downing also helped clarify our earlier story concerning the first round of arrests. He confirmed that, as far as he is aware, no drugs were purchased at Lassen High School.
