USDA Representatives Tour Site of New Lake Almanor Community Hospital

Seneca Healthcare District recently welcomed representatives from the U.S. Department of Agriculture to the site of the new Lake Almanor Community Hospital for an in-person tour and project update. The visit provided an opportunity to showcase current construction progress and discuss the next phases of the facility.

During the visit, SHD leadership and project partners provided updates on construction milestones and timelines. USDA representatives toured the site to observe the work underway and engaged in discussions regarding how the project will support the long-term health and economic vitality of the Lake Almanor basin.

According to the District, USDA officials offered positive feedback on the project’s advancement and the district’s stewardship of resources. They also acknowledged the strong community-centered approach guiding the development, emphasizing its importance to rural healthcare access and regional resilience.
