Mark your calendars! Lassen Family Service’s 13th annual Walk-A-Mile event, a mile-long color walk to support survivors of sexual assault and child abuse, will be held on Saturday, April 11th in Susanville’s Memorial Park.
LFS hosts the event annually during Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Awareness month to make the community aware of the prevalence of these crimes and to provide information on the support services offered in Lassen County.
Activities will be held in the park from 10:00a.m., until 2:00p.m. It’s free for everyone to participate in the one-mile walk, with a big confetti finish!
There will also be local impact speakers, resource booths, craft and food vendors.
You Could Be a Part of the Fun!
Would your business or organization like to have a booth at the Walk-A-Mile? It’s a great way to spread your message while meeting a lot of Susanville folks face-to-face. There is no charge for food or craft vendor booths.
