The Magical Country Christmas Celebration, held Saturday evening in historic uptown, was a splendid way to kick off the holiday season in Susanville, with more than a thousand people lining the street for live entertainment, the parade and fireworks as the tree was lit.
Lots of comments were heard praising the event’s fireworks display this year. A good show, and a good time, were had by all.
