There was a big Zumba dance party this evening at the Elks Lodge in Susanville, raising funds for a Susanville Community Center through the newly formed Lassen D.E.N. group.
Lassen D.E.N. (Devoted to Excellence in Neighborhoods, Inc) is a non-profit organization created by several community members who have banded together to raise funds for Community Center after seeing the need to provide a hub for community resources, activities,and learning.
Zumba is normally held at New Image Racket Ball Club Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5:10 to 6:10 pm.
