The Lassen County Office of Education has setup their popular Exploration Zone at this week’s 2026 Lassen County Fair. The Exploration Zone’s theme, “Red, White, and You!” features a fun, hands-on, interactive area packed with activities designed for kids from ages 3 to 99.
Families can head over to the Industrial Building to explore dedicated science, technology, engineering, art, and math areas. Whether you are building, experimenting, creating, or just plain curious, there is something for everyone from toddlers to grandparents.
In addition to the interactive projects, families can visit the various resource booths to connect with local community organizations and gather helpful information.
The Exploration Zone will be located inside the Industrial Building at the fairgrounds. You can catch all the action from 11:00a.m. to 6:00p.m. today through Saturday, and from 11:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. on Sunday.
