Just in time to get the town looking spiffy for summer the City of Susanville will be sponsoring a Clean-Up Day on Saturday, May 20th. Volunteers are needed to make the day a success and the city is inviting Susanville residents to gather family, friends and neighbors to help beautify the community by removing litter and recycling materials from our rivers, parks and streets.
The Clean-up Day will begin with sign ups at 8:30a.m., and those interested in participating are asked to meet at Memorial Park where assignments will be handed out.
Clean-up work begins at 9:00a.m., ends at noon, and the City of Susanville will provide clean-up supplies.
Susanville Supermarket IGA has donated water and doughnuts for Clean-Up participants.
Community organizations, groups, businesses and individuals are all welcome to join in on the day. Sign up early by calling 252-5101 or by emailing [email protected].
